Tragically a young child drowned in a suburban Perth swimming pool. The coroner questioned the veracity of a swimming pool inspection conducted by the local municipal authority, a faulty gate lock being identified during the inquest as a causal factor.
In a similar incident another child drowned after actions identified during two separate inspections were not carried out by the property owner. Inspect includes prompts for follow up inspections.
